About the place
The dolphinarium opened on 1 June 1972, the first of its kind in the country. The hall around the pool has been modernised and now seats 1,300, used in summer and winter; this is where the dolphins Ni Ni and Chen Chen perform. Since 15 September 2026 the dolphin show takes place daily at 12:00 and lasts about 25 minutes, while the sea lion shows are temporarily suspended.
The same grounds hold the Planetarium, with shows daily at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00 plus 15:00 at weekends, and the Microreserve, about 12 ha with a 2 ha lake, pelicans, swans, peacocks, mouflons and fallow deer. The complex's Aquarium next to the Casino is temporarily closed because it is moving here, onto the dolphinarium site.
