About the place

Plita Pescarului is a family business opened in 2013 at Falezei Street no. 26, right on the sand. Wild Black Sea fish, mussels, rapa whelks and bluefish go onto the cast-iron griddle, served with polenta that is crisp outside and soft inside. The menu changes daily.

Reviews keep mentioning the fish borscht, the rapa whelks, the turbot and the fish roe salad. Some dishes are not always available, and tables fill up quickly in the evening. It holds 4.6 on Google from 574 reviews, many written in summer 2026.
